Earlier in the year we had the opportunity to take a couple of the guys from Aus Geo Outdoors for an early morning paddle. Luckily the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and her residents put on their best, we had a calm flat morning and saw plenty of marine life. Normally we are not up on the water before dawn but the photographer wanted the early morning light for the photos. A more reasonable 8.00am start still allows us to view plenty of green sea turtles and fishes in the shallow coastal island waters.
Sadly, it seems I can't upload the article onto our site but perhaps you can find it in the March/April copy of Aus Geo Outdoor Magazine.
